<당신은 x-being을 초대하지 않을 수 없다>는 삶과 죽음 간의 딱딱하고 얇은 분리를 초월하는 ‘의식’에 다양한 방법으로 침투하는 작업이다. 생명과 비생명, 존재와 비존재의 사이를 느슨하게 하는 의식은 흐르는 것이고, 유영하는 것이다. 우리의 주위에, 내부에, 그리고 곁에서 희미하게 어른거리는 것이 의식이자 영혼이라면 우리는 어떻게 서로와 함께할 수 있을까? 내부와 외부의 투과적인 구조에 주목하며, 공동의 존재양태를 살핀다. 사회 안에 처한 ‘몸'은 타자를 만나면서 자신의 빗장을 여는 해킹을 경험한다. 역병의 시대를 사는 우리의 흐르는 의식 그리고 신경계는 투쟁, 도피, 휴식, 애도, 상실 사이에서 어떻게 진동하며 흔들거릴까?

두 여성  퍼포머는 어리석고, 순수하고, 광적인 여성 연대의 방식을 탐색한다. 마이크(들), 신경계 해킹, 진동하는 모터, 양파, 그리고 허밍 – 여러 유기체와 여러 인공체의 만남이 만들어내는 부조화로운 신경계의 리듬으로부터 공연 <당신은 x-being을 초대하지 않을 수 없다>가 발생한다. 복수의 신체, 복수의 사물, 복수의 목소리로 인한 리듬의 뒤얽힘과 상호작용은 연금술과도 같이 관객 무리의 몸을 관통한다. 관객은 희미하게 흔들거리는 유령적인 존재자 x-being으로 이곳에 초대된다.

How can we dance with each other, if consciousness is something that vaguely glimmers around, within, and beside us? Paying attention to the permeable structure of the inside and the outside, this work examines the state of coexistence and solidarity in bodily ways.

 

You cannot disinvite x-being is a choreographic work that infiltrates ‘consciousness’ in various ways, transcending the hard and thin separation between life and death. Consciousness loosens the gap between living and non-living, existence and non-existence. Two women performers, microphones, nervous system hacking, a roaring engine, onions, and humming are the materials. The rhythmic entanglements and interactions of the plural bodies, plural objects, and plural voices alchemically penetrates the collective body. The audience is invited here as faintly vibrating spectral x-beings.​​​
